P.A.S.S.

P    Pull the pin
A    Aim at the base of the fire
S    Squeeze the handle
S   Sweep left to ride

Call 911 right away. P.A.S.S.

  1. Good information. Be sure to check to make sure the fire extinguisher is the right one for the type of fire. Electrical, Grease (oil), or other materials. The wrong type of fire extinguisher could be a problem for your safety also.
