If you use the regular comment area to leave a comment on my blog, The StCR software asks for your name, email address, and website. It is visible with the comments. However, neither STcr nor I share this information with anyone. Anyone reading the comments can see your name and click on your website. However, they cannot see your email address. I can see your email address so I can reply to your comments.
We use software that asks for your name and email address to verify that the comment is not SPAM. unsolicited advertising,. quick schemes, or quasi-legal services. If a comment has more than 1 link in it, it will go to the SPAM folder to protect readers from them.
WordPress and I never give your information to a third party without your permission. I use widget or plugin software but no one other than me sees your information when you subscribe to my blog.
Remember, you can use the pop up cookie controls to limit the information we collect about you when you visit my blog.
You can also choose to deactivate your subscription to my blog updates and occasional newsletters.

When they search for cookies on my website:
I do not have YouTube embedded on my website. I have regular links there. Software may save when you click to YouTube because they may keep track of where visitors came from.
Also, I have links to Amazon for my books and books of other authors. I do not receive commission for putting these on my site. Amazon does not pay me to put them there.
