  5. Hi Joan,

I was reading the blog “Escaping the Inkwell” today and noticed a comment from you on one of the posts. Your name sounded familiar so to be sure I checked out your link and saw that I was right and you are a presenter at the Muse Conference with 4RV Publishing.

Although I won’t be active in your workshop I already decided to check it out when I can because I’m sure there is much that will be shared that will help me improve as a writer.

    1. Dear Marsha,
Thanks for leaving a comment and for being a follower. I am honored by your presence here. Now I have 89 followers…heading to 100 so we can have a mammoth celebration.
I enjoy “Escaping the Inkwell” blog. Glad my name sounded familiar to you and that you discovered you were right. I definitely am a presenter at the Muse Conference with 4RV Publishing forum and in the main forum, too. One editing workshop, 30 Ways to Correct, Trim, and Enhance Your Manuscript and the other is about How to Write a Pitch That Sells
Hope you will check them out. If you leave an evaluation at the link in the handouts and put your name and email address in box 9, you’ll receive a free gift and a chance to win a free pitch and 1000 word manusript critique.

  7. Dear Joan,
I am gald to find you. I am a Jamaican teacher and writer living in New York and seeking a market for my collection of original short stories that speak of childhood and adolescence in Jamaica. I think they would be suitable for grade 10 in the high school curriculum and I would like to contact a publisher who could help me get them there. I also have a play about the 1831 slave rebellion in Jamaica

Thanks for what you are doing to help authors
