The last month of the year
May bring a tear
Of love, loss, or fear.
I hope you feel new mirth;
A joyful rebirth
Feeling your worth
A new day is in your land.
Grasp it by the hand.
Join the survival band.
Banish fear of defeat.
Seize strength and love so sweet.
Wrap them around your feet.
Learn new skills. Grow.
To your dreams go
Some days fast and others slow.
Others care.
Others share.
You will get there.
God has a plan.
